About Reiki
Reiki, in Japanese, means ‘universal life energy.’ It is a therapeutic practice that uses the laying on of hands to channel and direct this energy, seeking to promote energy balance and well-being in the recipient. Reiki aims to restore health and harmonise the physical, emotional and spiritual body through the cleansing, unblocking and activation of the chakras and meridians.
Reiki is applied by placing the practitioner's hands on the recipient's body, without direct physical contact in some modalities. The goal is to channel universal energy to restore energy balance and promote healing. Reiki is considered a complementary therapy and can be used in conjunction with other health practices.
